ARE YOU PREPARED?

Fires, hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, they all describe these past few weeks. Are you prepared? No, I’m not saying it is the end, only God knows that. My question to you again is, are you prepared? The word, “prepare,” means to be ready or to plan for something in advance. For example, you make preparations for a party, for a nice vacation, a presentation, you prepare for work, prepare a meal, prepare, prepare, prepare…

You prepare in advance so all your plans will go well. Then we hear that we need to prepare to evacuate in case of an emergency or a natural disaster. It is good to be prepared, to be ready, but again I ask you, “Are You Prepared?” Are you ready for your final day on earth? Obviously we don’t know when that will be, unless sadly someone plans to commit suicide and they plan for it. Others prepare by planning in advance their burial plot, the funeral arrangements and let loved ones know their final wishes.

Okay, now to the point of my blog. Do you know where you are going? Have you made preparations, have you made yourself ready? It is so easy. I have, and I’m more than ready. Why? Because I used to fear death and not knowing what happens when I die, made me decide to learn more about it. In my last thirty years of attending Bible studies I have asked hundreds of questions to make sure I knew. You see, the biggest problem is to think we have plenty of time and we don’t prepare for it. We all have an expiration date, just like the milk carton we each have an ending date. Nobody here on earth lives forever…and that is a good thing, because compared to Heaven, compared to spending eternity with our Creator and the One who died for us, this earth is not that good, really.

So find out, get ready, plan, prepare so you are not caught by surprise. Just like you make plans for your future, your career, your future spouse, plan a family, plan birthday parties, go ahead and plan your eternity by reading about Heaven! On this website I have written many blogs on the subject. I share my story via radio and TV interviews. You can also click and download the section titled, “Salvation & Eternal Life.” You can also order a copy of my Bible study titled, “How to Love God with All Your Heart – A Personal Journey & Testimonial Bible Study Guide.” Find Christian books, listen to messages online. There is so much out there, but be careful because not everything is true or reliable information. So join a Bible study and ask your questions there, but please my dear friend, be prepared, be ready. The Bible says that when Jesus returns for a second time it will be like a thief in the night. There will be no warning to evacuate. It will be sudden but the Bible also tells us to be ready, to draw near to God, to have faith in God’s Son, Jesus the Christ and Messiah.

There is no need to be afraid about the end because when you have placed your faith in Jesus, He is not coming to destroy you, but to give you a new body that will never hurt or perish. It will be a glorious body. I can go on and on to show you and try to convince you, but just pray, research, read some of my blogs where I list all the Scripture verses, and make yourself ready for the biggest celebration in the world when Jesus comes in the clouds to take us home, sweet home, our forever home, without blemish and without sin. MIRACLE TODAY!!!

WE HAVE A MIRACLE FROM GOD!!! OUR SON WAS TOLD HE HAD SPOTS ON HIS LIVER YESTERDAY. WE PRAYED. MRI THIS MORNING...NO SPOTS!

HE HOLDS MY HAND

Please wait for me, I asked the stranger in my dream. He didn’t even look at me and kept going as he disappeared before my eyes. In this dream I was driving through the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. A construction worker stopped me to tell me that I couldn’t go any further by car. I left my vehicle behind and began to walk to leave the area. At the beginning I thought it was a familiar path I had taken with my husband before. All of a sudden there was a semi-dark tunnel that I didn’t recognize. I knew then I was lost. Then a man in his 50’s, wearing glasses, was walking behind me. He was also lost and was carrying a baby in a pouch around his waist. He asked me if I could hold his child while he went to look for the way out because it would be faster for him to go alone. I agreed. The scenery around me was beautiful so I proceeded to take pictures with my iPhone. Within minutes the man showed up telling me he had found the way. He took the baby and began to walk fast through uneven terrain and stepping stones in a river. It would be dark soon.

I’m not a terrific hiker. As a matter of fact I’m a straggler. My back and feet remind me to slow down many times. So I asked the man to please wait for me and he didn’t. As soon as I woke up I went downstairs to give my husband a long hug as he made us coffee on Saturday morning. I kissed him and thanked him for always holding my hand and waiting for me when we go on walks and hikes. I told him how I missed him and how this dream had made me realize that the reason why he patiently waits for me is because he loves me and has invested his life in me.

A week later I read a devotional about the invitation to receive Jesus in our hearts by faith. After reading the devotional I wrote the following prayer:

“Dear Lord, precious Lord! Thank you for knocking at the door of my heart forty-five years ago when I was ten years old. Thank you for loving me and gently putting up with me all these years. Thank you for the many lessons and experiences You have allowed in my life to continue to shape me and mold me into the image of your Son, Jesus Christ. Thank you that You continue to hold my hand and walk next to me to guide me to take the right path. Oh, how I love you, my Lord.”

As I wrote the last few sentences, I thought about the dream I had. Jesus patiently waits for us. He offers us His hand to lead us and to guide us when we are lost because He has much invested in us. He not only loves us, He gave up His life for us. That’s the reason why He’s willing to wait for YOU and hold your hand.

Dear blog reader, I wrote this blog with you in mind because YOU matter to me, but above all YOU matter to Jesus. If you feel lost at times, know that Jesus is there waiting to hold your hand and lead you in the right direction. Be blessed in His name!

NO SHAME

I CAN'T KEEP QUIET ANYMORE...

I can't keep quiet anymore...I started 2017 sensing in my spirit that God wants us to worship Him more! All the people, all the churches of the world, to utter praises, to sing more, to experience a greater intimacy with our Creator and Savior! I'd like to see us singing more to Him in our homes, in front of our computers, iPhones, before beginning our small group studies, not just on Sunday morning. Who is with me?

Let's enter into His presence with thanksgiving and gratitude in our hearts, no matter what is going on in our lives. You will be blessed. He wants more of us. He wants our hearts of adoration <3 God wants you to experience His presence more. That is taking place more in my life when I come to Him with a heart of praise. Make 2017 a year of praise and jubilee! No matter what, no matter what...Be blessed!!!
