DELIGHT

I want God to give me the desires of my heart, do you? I love this Bible verse so much that I bought this frame that adorns our nightstand table in our bedroom. It's also the verse I write in many of my friend's birthday cards. It's such a meaningful and important verse that I began the first chapter of my book with this precious verse.

"Psalm 37:4 says, “Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.”

The word “delight” means a high degree of gratification, joy and extreme satisfaction. What a wonderful promise. It amazes me how well God knows what I like. After this introduction I offered ideas and suggestions in how to delight in God and His Word in fun and relaxing ways.
